Great for storing audio files, photos, etc. All in all a nice tight easy to have around personal use bus powered drive. Don't use the drives in the protective pouches, looks like they will get super hot. is always helpful but I have not had to deal with them much. When people have to work on sections of a film or specific tasks these are fantastic. They work great as little edit drives as well. I edit and mix sound for feature films and we use these for moving around tracks and files when they are either to large for the local net or internet. I love it: so easy to use, GREAT storage for photos, the only one that hasn't crashed on me! Was recommended to buy this for a University Course in Photography and I am very glad that I was. she says this has NEVER crashed on her and required our whole class to purchase THIS brand.

To be honest this is my first portable hard drive but i had it HIGHLY recommended by a photography teacher of mine who has been through a thousand. Their small footprint makes them convenient too.
